Factory rear leaf springs are designed primarily for heavy load capacity, which can translate into a stiff, harsh ride—especially when unloaded or lightly loaded.
That’s where Kelderman’s legendary 2-Stage Rear Air Suspension System comes in.
This system uses Kelderman’s unique 2-Stage Rear Air Suspension Framework, attaching to the rear leaf spring shackle to increase usable suspension travel while maintaining load-handling capability. Instead of relying solely on stiff factory leaf springs to absorb impacts, the air suspension does the work—smoothing out bumps and improving overall control.
With 3–4 inches of additional rear suspension travel, you’ll feel a noticeable improvement in comfort, stability, and drivability. Backed by a proven design that’s been in production for over 25 years, this is a trusted solution for Sprinter owners who want a smoother ride without compromising durability.
This kit is compatible only with Sprinter 2500 single rear wheel (SRW), long-wheelbase (170″) models.
