This 45-gallon fuel tank requires a chassis-specific mounting strap kit. Please add one of the following to your order: Cutaway Strap Kit (Part #0200117295) or Passenger/Cargo Strap Kit (Part #0200117275).
Not sure which chassis you have? Contact us before ordering and we'll help confirm the correct strap kit.
Extend your range and minimize fuel stops with this 45-Gallon Midship Replacement Fuel Tank for the Ford Transit 350 / Transit 250. This tank replaces either the OEM 26-gallon or the OEM 31-gallon fuel tank, giving you a significant capacity upgrade while maintaining excellent ground clearance.
Built from heavy-duty U.S. aluminized steel and powder-coated for long-term protection, this replacement tank mounts securely inside the frame rails above the differential. Internal baffles help reduce fuel slosh during cornering, highway driving, and off-road travel for consistent performance in a variety of conditions.
Whether you are traveling long distances, exploring remote destinations, or simply looking to reduce the number of fuel stops during your trip, the additional capacity provides added range and peace of mind.
This 45-gallon replacement tank is longer than both the OEM 26-gallon and OEM 31-gallon fuel tanks. Additional clearance is required beyond the footprint of the factory tank. If your van came with the 26-gallon tank, plan on an even larger difference in overall length.
Vehicles and RV builds equipped with aftermarket components near the factory fuel tank — including water tanks, auxiliary tanks, plumbing, storage compartments, electrical components, brackets, or other equipment — may experience interference with the larger fuel tank.
Please review the fuel tank dimensions provided on this page and physically verify the available space on your vehicle before ordering. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm that their vehicle or build has adequate clearance for the tank and its associated mounting components.
If you are unsure whether this tank will work with your build, please contact the PAD Overland team before placing your order.
Due to the size, shipping requirements, and testing required for returned fuel tanks, all approved fuel tank returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Returned tanks will be inspected and tested by Transferflow before a refund is processed to confirm that no damage has occurred. Once the tank has successfully completed inspection and testing, the applicable refund, less the 25% restocking fee, will be issued.
The customer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping the fuel tank back to PAD Overland.
Before ordering: Review the tank dimensions and verify that your vehicle has sufficient clearance. Aftermarket water tanks, plumbing, storage systems, electrical components, auxiliary equipment, or other modifications located near the factory fuel tank may interfere with installation.
