Co-developed with Falcon, this race-inspired inverted strut design dramatically increases damping performance, front-end stability, and long-term durability compared to factory components. Designed specifically for heavy vans and demanding terrain, this strut delivers improved handling precision, better load control, and increased confidence both on and off-road.
Unlike conventional struts, the inverted design positions the damper body as the upper shaft while housing the load-bearing components in a massive lower assembly connected directly to the steering knuckle. This configuration significantly increases load capacity and structural rigidity — a design proven in Dakar and World Rally Championship vehicles.
A much larger damping piston compared to OEM units allows for improved oil control, reduced fade, and more consistent performance under heavy loads. The protected damper shaft and seal surfaces are positioned inside the lower housing to improve service life in harsh environments.
Van Compass’ proprietary Rate Cup retains the OEM strut bushing, preserving factory NVH characteristics while preloading the bushing for tighter steering feel. By distributing damping forces across the entire bushing surface, it prevents premature wear and eliminates clunking common in other aftermarket solutions.
This is a premium, performance-focused upgrade engineered for serious adventure builds and heavy-duty use.

Shipping & Return

We ship nationwide and internationally. Most in-stock items leave our shop within 1–3 business days. Made-to-order and oversized parts may require additional lead time; any special timing will be noted on the product page.
Order Processing
If an order is placed outside of our normal business hours (Monday–Friday), we will process it as soon as possible once our team is back in the shop during regular operating hours. Weekend orders will be handled the next business day.
Tracking & Delivery
- You'll receive a tracking email as soon as your order ships.
- We cannot ship to PO Boxes for oversized or freight items.
- Signature may be required for high-value shipments.
Freight & Oversize Items
- Large/oversized products (bumpers, racks, etc.) ship via LTL freight.
- Please inspect your delivery at arrival. Note any damage on the carrier’s paperwork and take photos before signing—this is required to file a claim.
- Residential freight includes curbside delivery; inside delivery/appointments may incur additional fees.
International Orders
- Duties, taxes, and import fees are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included at checkout.
- Some products may have export restrictions or carrier limits.
Order Changes & Cancellations
- Requests must be made within 24 hours of purchase when possible.
- Custom or built-to-order items may not be cancellable once production begins.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you stoked on your gear. Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
Eligibility
- Items must be new, unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging with all hardware.
- Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect.
- A restocking fee (typically 10–20%) may apply to non-defective returns to cover inspection, repackaging, and processing.
Non-Returnable Items
- Installed/used items, custom or made-to-order products, electrical/electronic components, clearance/“garage sale” items, and gift cards.
How to Start a Return
- Log in to your account and open the order, or contact us with your order number.
- We’ll issue return instructions and an RMA if approved. Returns without RMA may be refused.
- Pack securely; include all parts and paperwork. We recommend insured, trackable shipping.
Refunds
- Once received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable (except in cases of our error or a confirmed defect).
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
- Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
- For freight damage, ensure notes are made with the carrier at delivery and take photos before signing.
Warranty
